1 We listened to Bach and Mozart for a feel of pre-Revolution music.

2 We listened to Beethoven for a taste of music inspired by the Revolution--wow!

3 We read the lyrics and heard the French National Anthem La Marseilles created during the French Revolution--very powerful.

4 We looked at some key quotes from Robespierre--"Pity is treason".

5 We finished watching the DVD on the French Revolution and the end of the Directory.
