Block 1 we wrote the French Revolution test.
Block 2 we did current events------------we listened to Beethoven's 3rd Symphony Eroica (Which used to be called Bonaparte-----------we read page 99 in the textbook and discussed questions 1,2,3,4 on page 99------we watched a 10 minute clip of Napoleon from YOUTUBE "Napoleon Bonaparte Part I"------------we read pages 100-101 and discussed.

We read about the Nazi program Aktion T 4 --checkit out on the internet.
We took some notes from Mr. Stevens.

4 We started the Philosopher project--pick at least 7 famous 18th Century Philosophers and explain their views, or create a Collage of Rousseau's views versus Voltaire's views. This assignment is due on Tuesday Oct. 20 and is out of 30 marks

We were in the computer room picking our stocks today and then looked at foreign investment in Canada. There will be an in-class essay on Friday Oct. 16 --The topic--"Canada was a land of trouble and strife in the 1920's" Agree and disagree.
